Team Mynar, led by paddler Fred Mynar, won the Texas Water Safari over close second-place finisher Texas Flood, reaching the finish line in San Antonio Bay at 4:33 p.m. Sunday, in a time of 31 hours and 33 minutes. The neck-and-neck race between the two top teams was regarded as one of the most competitive in the event’s history. (Victoria Advocate)
