Study Analyzes Pedernales River Water
In a year-long study to determine the origin and quality of water in the Pedernales River, a researcher at Texas State University conducted testing of a hundred different sites in the river's watershed. The research, which is part of a larger study by the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, found that available surface water during dry water seasons came from groundwater, and that its quality lay within the Environmental Protection Agency’s drinking water limits.
