Texas Water Safari Postponed Until June 25
The annual Texas Water Safari, billed as the nation's toughest canoe race, has been postponed until June 25 because of the flooding conditions of the past two weeks. The Texas Water Safari Board cited forecasts indicating continued flooding conditions for the postponement and pointed out that the race has been postponed several times previously in its 54-year history.
