Spring Lake Adds New Exhibit on Native American History

Ongoing research and archeological discoveries relating to Native American history in the area around Spring Lake will become part of a new exhibit at Discovery Hall.

Ongoing research and archeological discoveries relating to Native American history in the area around Spring Lake will become part of a new exhibit at Discovery Hall, as part of of a joint project by the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State and the Center for Archaeological Studies. The exhibit will display artifacts demonstrating Spring Lake's designation by archaeologists as the longest continuously inhabited location in North America. (University Star)
