Event: SWIFT Funding Workshop on Water Conservation Projects

A SWIFT funding workshop on water conservation projects will be held in Grapevine on June 23.

What: Water utilities considering whether SWIFT funding from the Texas Water Development Board is an appropriate funding source for managing their water supplies will hear from experts who have evaluated their conservation programs and been through the SWIFT application process. They will also learn about the role of conservation in North Texas’ future water supply.

Who: Speakers include Ken Kramer and Jennifer Walker, Sierra Club, Lone Star Chapter; Carlos Rubinstein, RSAH2O and former chairman. The program is directed to water resource managers, water utility directors, city officials, MUD board members, conservation staff and business and community leaders.

Where: The REC of Grapevine, 1175 Municipal Way, Grapevine

When: June 23, 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
