Event: Southwest Stream Restoration Conference

Natural resource professionals from around the Southwest will meet at the Southwest Stream Restoration Conference to share knowledge, experiences and innovations in stream restoration.

A kayak and canoe entry point on the Devils River, an hour west of Del Rio. There are few public entry points available, as much of the land that the river runs through is private property.

What: Natural resource professionals from around the Southwest will meet at the Southwest Stream Restoration Conference to share knowledge, experiences and innovations in stream restoration. The conference will include discussions of watershed planning and connection, instream flows, drought and climate variability.

Who: Sponsored by the Texas Water Resource Institute, with participation by Texas Parks & Wildlife and experts from universities, agencies and organizations around the region.

When: June 1-3
