Water Initiatives Announced at White House Water Summit
Late last month, at least 150 companies and nonprofits attended a White House Water Summit, where they announced new initiatives to enhance water quality, water conservation and water management. The federal government also announced new initiatives that include using $4 billion towards innovations in water treatment, recycling, reuse and conservation, and $35 million in grants to universities and organizations that research how to use water sustainably.
