The Texas Tribune's Jay Root and KUT's Ben Philpott talk with Libertarian party presidential hopeful Gary Johnson about his efforts to break through in a media world dominated by the two-party system.

Jay and Ben also chat with Political Science Professor Brian Smith about the history of third parties in the United States.
