Event: The Price of Admission

The Texas Tribune presents a special event on the Top 10 Percent Rule, featuring a conversation on the issue of fairness and access in education.

What: Join us at the ACC Highland Campus for a discussion on the Top 10 Percent Rule and how it creates challenges for high schools and colleges. Tribune CEO and Editor-in-Chief Evan Smith will moderate.

Parking is available in the southeast parking lot, in front of the building. It is free and open to the public. A light lunch will be provided.

In addition, the conversation will be livestreamed, and the video will be accessible for viewing afterward.

Who: Event panelists include:

•    State Rep. Donna Howard, D-Austin, vice chairwoman of the House Higher Education Committee

•    State Rep. John Zerwas, R-Richmond, chairman of the House Higher Education Committee

•    Paul Cruz, superintendent of the Austin Independent School District

•    Larry Faulkner, former president of the University of Texas at Austin

Where: Austin Community College Highland Campus, Community Room, 2nd floor, 6101 Airport Blvd., Austin

When: Thursday, March 31, 12-1 p.m.
