A major project to share and explore research to stop the draining of the Ogallala Aquifer will launch on March 31 in Amarillo. The project, which is funded by the U. S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture, is being led by Colorado State University, with the Texas Water Resources Institute in College Station leading the project in Texas.
