What: The Texas Tribune and KLRU-TV present a candidate forum featuring the Republican candidates for Texas Railroad Commissioner. Moderator Evan Smith of The Texas Tribune will discuss with the candidates their ideas about the industry, regulation, the state economy, and other issues that will confront the commission in the years ahead.

This event is free and open to the public, but please RSVP on the KLRU website. The forum will air on KLRU-TV at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Who: Candidates who have confirmed their attendance include: Lance Christian, Wayne Christian, Gary Gates, Doug Jeffrey, Weston Martinez, John Greytok and Ron Hale.

Where: KLRU Studio 6A, 2504 Whitis Ave., Austin

When: Feb. 8, 6-8 p.m.
