NIH Gets Biggest Funding Boost in 12 Years
A federal spending bill signed into law by President Obama in December includes a $2 billion increase for the National Institutes of Health. That includes a $350 million increase dedicated to Alzheimer’s research, $200 million more for the Precision Medicine Initiative and an $85 million increase for the BRAIN Initiative. (STAT)
