A study by the Texas Policy Evaluation Project estimates 100,000 to 240,000 women aged 18 to 49 in Texas have attempted self-induced abortion, a number the study suggests may be related limited access to abortion providers under House Bill 2 from 2013. There were 42 abortion providers in Texas before the 2013 law; now there are 19. (Reuters)
