Texans Wonder If Wild Weather Is The New Norm
Climatologists are studying whether the wild swings in weather patterns in Texas this year are unique or bode a "new normal" resulting from climate change. Multiple studies by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) have indicated that with a warming world, extreme precipitation events from drought to flood will intensify, and they will become more frequent, not only in Texas and the U.S. but elsewhere in the world.
