California Struggles To Put New Water Law Into Practice
California's Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, the state's new safeguard for its aquifers, is proving difficult to translate into practice with a new regulatory infrastructure. Agencies and regulatory entities around the state are having to collaborate, sometimes contentiously, in order to create a long-term plan to ensure water supply. (Circle of Blue)
