Glaciers Melting Quickly in the North Cascades

Scientists who surveyed the major glaciers of the North Cascades in Washington found that the mountain range will lose a record amount of glacier ice in 2015, between 5 and 7 percent.

Scientists who surveyed the major glaciers of the North Cascades in Washington found that the mountain range will lose a record amount of glacier ice in 2015, between 5 and 7 percent. Severe heat and drought are some of the factors accelerating the loss in the Pacific Northwest. (Circle of Blue)
