Water Conservation Causing Problems in California
Californians saved about 75 billion gallons of water in July, but reduced water consumption is causing problems, including revenue shortfalls for water suppliers and less wastewater to recycle. With less flow from indoor water usage, solids are collecting in sewer pipes and causing damage. (Los Angeles Times)
