California Farmers Ponder Purchase of Urban Wastewater

California farmers are looking to urban wastewater as a way to irrigate their crops, part of their search for new water supplies as the state continues to struggle with drought.

California farmers are looking to urban wastewater as a way to irrigate their crops, part of their search for new water supplies as the state continues to struggle with drought. The Del Puerto Water District in the Central Valley has struck a deal with the city of Modesto to provide water that isn't considered potable for drinking but that's good enough for irrigation. (Water Online)
