EPA Finalizes Clean Water Rule
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army have finalized a Clean Water Rule providing clarity in defining and protecting tributaries that impact the health of downstream waters and in defining how far safeguards extend to nearby waters. The rule does not regulate groundwater, nor does it create new permitting requirements for agriculture. (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency)
