Data Missing on California Agricultural Water Use

Despite its reputation for high tech, California has been less than rigorous at documenting water use by its agriculture sector. That's according to researchers who say water data is surprisingly scanty for the sector that is responsible for nearly 80 percent of the water use in the state. (Circle of Blue)
