Federal Grants Promote Ideas-Based Education Development
The U.S. Department of Education will begin accepting applications for its i3 program, which provides small development grants that support innovative improvements in principal effectiveness, increased use of classroom technology, STEM subject instruction, as well as social and emotional supports. Priority will be given to rural schools, first-time applicants and programs that serve diverse student populations. (Education Week)
