New Drug Might Lower Heart Attack, Stroke Risk
Studies published recently in the New England Journal of Medicine found that a new class of experimental cholesterol drugs might lower the risk of heart attacks and stroke. It’s already established they influence “bad’’ cholesterol, but preliminary evidence shows they may also help prevent heart problems and strokes. (The New York Times)
