Texas Teens Push for School Reforms on Dating Violence
Six middle school girls from East Texas visited the state Capitol last week, where they lobbied for a bill to foster improved implementation of dating violence programs in schools. With support from the Texas Council on Family Violence, the new bill would create a workgroup to analyze policies already on the books, as well as uncover more effective methods of implementation.
