Konni Burton, the GOP nominee for the Tarrant County state Senate seat that is reckoned the only swing district in the chamber, says she's pushing back against negative ads aired by her rival, Libby Willis.
“Libby’s negative attacks show exactly what is wrong with politics today,” Burton said in a statement accompanying the ad's release. “Though we desired to keep a campaign focused purely on the issues facing our District, Libby Willis has refused to talk about her vision and has instead resorted to making baseless accusations.”
Early voting runs through Friday for the Nov. 4 general election.
