In Spanish-Language Ads, Abbott Touts Businesses Moving to Texas
Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott says in new, Spanish-language ads that businesses are leaving California for Texas, where regulations are reasonable and taxes are low.
"Greg Abbott's jobs plan will build on that," says Abbott's fourth Spanish-language TV ad.
He also launched a radio version of the ad. The ads will air on Spanish-language TV and radio statewide, according to Abbott's campaign.
The ads come as Abbott is preparing a campaign swing through the heavily Hispanic Rio Grande Valley. His agenda includes a Friday debate with Democrat Wendy Davis.
