LCRA Delays Decision on New Water Management Plan
The Lower Colorado River Authority board has agreed to delay approval of a new water management plan to deal with the issue of diverting water from the Highland Lakes to downstream agricultural users. The delay will allow input from stakeholders on both sides of the issue. LCRA staff, after meeting with stakeholders, will present their findings and recommendations at the Sept. 17 LCRA board meeting. (Community Impact Newspaper)
