Habitat Conservation Plan Aims to Protect San Marcos River
The Habitat Conservation Plan for the San Marcos River, first put in place in 2011 to keep the San Marcos and Comal rivers flowing and protect the habitat of the endangered species that are found in the rivers, has brought improvements such as new stone access points to the San Marcos that allow access for the public while preventing bank erosion.
