Texas Elementary Education Programs Receive High Marks

Good news for the future of Texas primary education — four of the top 10 spots in the recently released National Council for Teacher Quality rankings were captured by Texas universities, including the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University. The programs received rankings based on factors such as selection criteria, early reading, elementary math and student teaching. (Houston Chronicle)
