LA Unified School District Broadens Its Approach to Technology

A year after a controversial move to provide students at 47 schools with iPads, the Los Angeles Unified School District has broadened its approach to digital learning devices. A revised plan to go into effect next year will focus on providing one of six approved laptops for all students in the district’s 27 high schools. Eschewing a one-size-fits-all approach, the new plan will tailor technology needs to individual students. (Los Angeles Times)
