A Ride of a Lifetime Through the Once-Dry Colorado Delta
A writer for Outside Magazine followed the progress of water through the once-dry Colorado River delta during a joint U.S.-Mexico experiment in ecological restoration. Riding an inflatable paddleboard on newly released waters below Morelos Dam, on the Mexico-Arizona border, he experienced the result of an eight-week-long pulse flow of water through the dam and into the dry channel.
