North Texas rancher Kenneth Braddock says coping with drought and population growth requires farmers and ranchers to adapt and to rethink traditional practices in order to conserve water. He points to such strategies as diversification and rotational grazing and creating or restoring wetlands with assistance from the federal Natural Resources Conservation Service.
