Even in the face of budget cuts, the Austin Independent School District has received stellar marks in the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce’s annual Education Progress Report. Graduation rates increased for economically disadvantaged students, African-American students and Hispanic students, and overall AISD graduation rates have increased to an all-time high of 82.5 percent.
