The U.S. House has passed the Water Resources Reform and Development Act, authorizing 34 water projects around the country, including two major projects in Texas.

The U.S. House has passed the Water Resources Reform and Development Act, authorizing 34 water projects around the country, including two major projects in Texas. Allocations for the two navigation projects in Texas include more than $748 million for the Sabine Neches Waterway, which also includes Louisiana, and $121 million for the Freeport Harbor in Freeport, Texas. The Senate will take up the bill later this week. (The Associated Press)
