As Americans lead increasingly sedentary lives, one educator suggests that a mixture of traditional classroom instruction and controlled physical activity would better serve students’ needs. Carolina Blatt-Gross’ research suggests that incorporating the natural physical inclinations of children into the learning process makes for healthier, more attentive students — and, ultimately, more balanced adults.
