U.S., Mexico to Release Water Into Arizona's Colorado River Delta

The U.S. and Mexico are conducting an ecological experiment by releasing water downstream from the Morelos Dam near Yuma, Ariz., into the Colorado River delta, according to a report in the science journal Nature.

The U.S. and Mexico are conducting an ecological experiment by releasing water downstream from the Morelos Dam near Yuma, Ariz., into the Colorado River delta, according to a report in the science journal Nature. The joint effort is a first for the two nations — putting water back into the habitat for environmental purposes.
