In a new web ad released Tuesday, state Rep. Dan Branch, R-Dallas, who is running for attorney general, said he would have a "special file for Washington's bad ideas." That file, it is revealed, is bound for the shredder.

Branch is running in the Republican primary against state Sen. Ken Paxton, R-McKinney, and Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Barry Smitherman.
