Andy Cargile, local school board trustee. Cargile Campaign

The powerful Texas Association of Realtors on Wednesday announced a list of 46 candidates it is backing in contested primaries. Two of them are challenging incumbents.

Andy Cargile, a local school board trustee, is among those endorsements. Cargile, a mainstream Republican, is looking to unseat state Rep. Jonathan Stickland, R-Bedford, a Tea Party candidate, in House District 92.

The group also backs establishment candidate Skip Ogle, who is challenging state Rep. Matt Schaefer, R-Tyler, a former legislative staffer who defeated an incumbent lawmaker in 2012.
