Transformation of Houston's Buffalo Bayou Under Way
The Buffalo Bayou Partnership, a public-private organization that was formed to revitalize Houston's 32-mile Buffalo Bayou, is in its second year of work on an ambitious 160-acre space along the bayou that will include new trails, a dog park and gardens. According to a River Network report, two pedestrian bridges have just opened to the public, and construction has begun on trails that will connect to neighborhoods north and south of the bayou.
