What: Texas Water Symposium — A Conversation About Water and Private Property Rights

Who: Moderated by Wier Labatt, secretary of the Board of Trustees of Schreiner University and chairman of the Investment Committee of the San Antonio Area Foundation. Panelists to include Joseph P. Fitzsimons, former chairman of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission; Sharlene Leurig, director of the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Program at Ceres; and Real County Judge Garry Merritt.

When: Thursday, Oct. 24, 7 p.m.

Where: Schreiner University, Kerrville

The hourlong program begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a Q&A. The events are recorded and aired on Texas Public Radio a week later.
