TCEQ to Address San Saba River Woes
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality on Wednesday will discuss water rights along the San Saba, which was recently listed as one of the country's most endangered rivers. A hydrologist hired by the organization American Rivers to evaluate water use in Menard County recently found evidence of waste and abuse of water resources, which the group Friends of the San Saba River has presented to the TCEQ.
