"I Am Texas Ag," Carnes Says in Campaign Video

In his first campaign video as a candidate for agriculture commissioner, Uvalde Mayor J Allen Carnes touts his farming roots and the importance of agriculture to the state.

Uvalde Mayor J Allen Carnes, a Republican candidate for agriculture commissioner, has released his first campaign video. The three-minute video focuses on Carnes' farming and ranching roots while noting that although many Texans have shifted to urban areas, agriculture is a critical industry for Texas clothing, food and exports.
