Archaeologist Searching for Shipwrecks Off Colombian Coast
Fritz Hanselmann, the chief underwater archaeologist for the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University, has joined an expedition to find and document historic shipwrecks off the coast of Colombia, which was part of the Spanish trade route during the colonial era. Hanselmann is blogging about the progress of the team on National Geographic's NewsWatch site.
