Texas Land Conservancy Announces Water Initiative
The Texas Land Conservancy has announced a new conservation project called Land for Water, a program focusing on "priority" lands near major water systems. Mark Steinbach, the land conservancy's executive director, told CultureMap Austin that the group will look at "a combination of where land is being threatened and where there are opportunities, centered around key watersheds or river systems."
