SAWS Temporarily Switching Water Sources for Some Customers
According to La Prensa, the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) has reported switching water sources for part of its service area in order to change its method of disinfection and flush the system of possible algae bloom, which is not dangerous to customers but can affect the disinfectant process. The system will switch temporarily to water from the Edwards Aquifer.
