Bill Aims to Help Low-Income Homeowners

Cities and counties in Texas would have an additional tool to give tax breaks to homeowners if a bill by state Rep. Eddie Rodriguez, D-Austin, becomes law. Supporters of the bill say it would help low- and middle-income households.
