Video: Cruz Rallies for Gun Rights in Leander

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, kicked off a mini tour of the Lone Star State on Tuesday by bashing the Obama administration and its attempts "to restrict law-abiding citizens' right to bear arms."

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, told workers at LaRue Tactical — a firearms manufacturer north of Austin — that "gun control policies do not work." As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a ranking member on its Subcommittee on the Constitution, he said the Obama administration should leave the Bill of Rights alone.
