No, your eyes don't deceive you: The Trib looks different this morning — hopefully better. We couldn't be happier.
For the last few months, working again with our pals at FlashBang [FBA], who designed our site when we launched, we've been tweaking and updating and refreshing the visual presentation of our content from the home page on down. It was time. Back in November 2009, most of the decisions we made were well-intentioned guesses. We were right more than we were wrong, but we had nothing to go on other than instinct. Today, we know more — about ourselves, and more importantly about how all of you consume what we post and publish.
Everything we've learned informed this round of changes, and the FlashBang team took our best ideas and ran with them. The result is a cleaner, clearer, more efficient and more purposeful Trib experience. And it's only the beginning: This redesign, like the bulk of what we do, is iterative. We'll continue to tweak, update and refresh as we go forward.
Enjoy. Feedback, good or bad, is much appreciated; comment on this post or email us at email@example.com.
