TribBlog: Anderson Cooper vs. Debbie Riddle, Round 3
Last night, Anderson Cooper used our TribLive footage to go all oh-no-you-didn't on state Rep. Debbie Riddle, R-Tomball.
When we last left America's newest fun couple, he — CNN's Anderson Cooper — was visibly exasperated that she — state Rep. Debbie Riddle, R-Tomball — was making claims about terror babies and tourer mamas that she wouldn't or couldn't substantiate. This week, she fought back in a TribLive interview, telling me that she felt "blindsided" by Cooper's staff and didn't know what she was getting into when she appeared alongside state Rep. Rafael Anchia, D-Dallas, on the Aug. 10 episode of AC360. Last night, he fought back against her fighting back, using our TribLive interview footage to take her on yet again. Not since Rick Sanchez got tasered has cable news been this watchable; more, please.
(The Riddle segment is at the beginning of the show and lasts just under 15 minutes.)
