A new Rasmussen Reports poll has Gov. Rick Perry leading former Houston Mayor Bill White by just 4 points: 48 percent to 44 percent. 6 percent are undecided, while 2 percent say they prefer a different candidate. A month ago, a Rasmussen poll had Perry leading by 6 points, 49 percent to 43 percent. White's favorables-to-unfavorables remain right-side-up: He's seen very favorably by 21 percent of Texas voters and very unfavorably by 16 percent, according to the poll. Perry's numbers are upside-down: His very favorables are 20 percent, while his very unfavorables are 22 percent.
