The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has announced its support for Kinky Friedman in the Democratic primary for Agriculture Commissioner:

Although Friedman has pockets full of one-liners at his disposal, he has been restrained in using them, talking instead about family farms and soil and water conservation...

He supports more farmer co-ops, restoration of the pine and hardwood forests and repairing pasture lands damaged by tidal surges.
